I’m a librarian. There was no way that I could find myself in New York City and not visit the famed New York City Library building known for the lions Patience and Fortitude.
I stood before that building and my emotions swelled, so happy and proud I was to finally be there. Awestruck and humble, I stared at the building hardly believing I was finally there. It was definitely one of the more surreal moments of the trip.
